Summercon 2015 Hotel Information

We've put together some hotel info, it's about two blocks from Littlefield, the Brooklyn Fairfield Inn & Suites. You can get a room discount if you call 718-522-4000 and make your reservations.

Among the amenities are free internet and an on-site ATM, also if you have a car, you can pay $25 to park it in their garage.

I couldn't figure out how to get Google maps to mark the two locations together in my lynx browser so I drew a treasure map.

Summercon 2015 will be held at Littlefield, Brooklyn

This year Summercon is returning to Littlefield in Brooklyn, New York. The conference will span 2 days, Friday July 17th and Saturday July 18th, and run from 11am to 5pm on both days, followed by a 5pm-7pm happy hour.

Littlefield is located at 622 Degraw Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn.

It's a pretty laid back space with a main conference area and social area, and most importantly, adjoined by the bar. Summercon was held at Littlefield back in 2011 and 2012 and we had a pretty good time.

   

It is easily accessible by public transit, there's access to a wide variety of dining choices in the nearby areas of Park Slope and Carol Gardens, and there's even a couple of nearby choices for lodging, including a Holiday Inn Express and a budget Super 8 just right around the corner. A subway ride from Union or Barclay's Center (previously Atlantic/Pacific) can take you to Manhattan within 4-6 stops (depending on the line).
